it does work with Chrome Trevor - if you refresh your browser (Ctrl + F5) and look at the images in the header you should see it's gone all festive. That is unless you're using a different theme that doesn't show it in which case can you let me know which theme you're using.

D3 has got a bit more festive.

I wonder if we should have different ones linked to the weather. :D

I can easily make the snow and baubles blow away - is that weather related enough?

Only if it blows the car over as well, but only if you are viewing the site from anywhere North of Manchester.

If you're viewing south of Newbury then the site most show hot sunshine! :D

Funnily enough, in my work I do use software that looks at the weather forecast sites and changes the graphic dependant on the weather - to date, I've only ever done it with static locations, but never say never - though I doubt it would be feasible to do it for everyone. Plus the software I use is Windows based (Well it uses Java actually, but the top end is Windows)

No I don't intend totry and integrate it :rasp:

That probably wouldn't actually be too difficult. We can geolocate each user's location based on IP address (it's not very reliable but gives a general idea). I also know that airfields publish their current weather conditions so we could find a data feed for that and tie it together to show weather conditions.

All of that said - most people wouldn't notice so it's not worth bothering with!

That's the Met Office site Simon. There's a special aviation section which is largely made up from a mix of aerodrome reports and the main weather forecast.

But as you said, nobody would notice.
