Salisbury Feedback / Thoughts
I'd like to open up a thread to capture peoples thoughts on Salisbury this year.
I'd like to know what you liked / didnt like and if you have ideas for what could be better of if you thought some worked well etc.
I would also be very keen to hear from people who havent been before or done much off roading, how was the event for you? Could we as a club do anything better to help new people? One idea I was thinking about was that we could have some club PMR radios that people could use.
Anyway its an open forum, all i ask is that comments are useful for future planning.
Thanks

Stick to the routes, and not drive them backwards....... Del
Stu, the hotel was spot-on, deffo for next year
As for the routes, if people say which lanes they liked, we can try and include them next time (provided the ranges are open etc....)
Gavin did comment to me, that this year was the first that he's completed all of the route, so I guess start time and length is about right

Oi, that was Mark deciding which way round we did that!! I hadn't started my leadership stint at that stage but had to continue what had been started.
If only I could think of something useful to type here!!

I thought it was a stroke of genius we got to say hello to everyone and it stopped us catching the group in front

Re: Salisbury Feedback / Thoughts
As I've already said elsewhere, it was a brilliant event - big thanks to Stu for organising and sorting an excellent finish venue and for Garry for sorting the routes.
I had a choice of two directions to go at one point - not being a regular user of memory map, it wasn't obvious which way to go - and it would seem I got it wrong No criticism of the route, just user errot - but perhaps if a crossing point happens next time, then some direction for the muppets like me could be made obvious - or was it just me
The inclusion of a jet wash at the finish was excellent too

Mark, when the route lines cross so do you I'm guessing it went wrong in Tilshead?
