Yes it was there! It was more of a split than a cross - well that's what I'm sticking to anyway :rasp:

I'm not sure there was a single fault I could pick, even if I was really picky!

An utterly fabulous day of lanes followed by a first class evening event. I was super impressed with the hotel on several fronts:
* Food was served hot rather than luke warm. Having lived most of my childhood in hotels, I know this is rare in parties over about 20.
* Plenty of food, with more available on request.
* Children's buffet was a superb idea.
* Availability of a room for Children's cinema was also genius.
* A desire by the staff to do everything they could to make it that extra bit better on anything they could. Very attentive, very accommodating.
* Name tags with what we'd ordered for those of us with failing memories was a lifesaver!

Stu, Garry, mirroring what's already been said before, thank you both for your lead efforts and thanks to everyone else that helped to make it so awesome either by helping out or just being part of it :thumbright:

The event standard has been set!

Blooming good evening, bar bill, was a bit hefty though :lol:
Great turn out and brilliant to see all those muddy discos. Nice to meet a few new faces and put faces to names etc.
Nice chilled breakfast and catchup, well done everyone for organising a fantastic event.
Looking forward to the next one.....I wonder if Paul will sell me back my D3? :lol:

Speaking personally I thought the event was a brilliant success and I'd like to say well done to those involved in the organising and reccying.

I thought the hotel was excellent and the meal was really good - I was in a fair amount of pain by that point so I apologise for not being very sociable.

I totally agree that the kids buffet was a great idea and I'm sure the cinema room was too - ours just ran off to bed as they were tired.

All in all I can't wait for next year's event :)
