Hey! thanks everyone. I really appreciate the positive response.

Maybe if I get the London launch organised you can join me for a quick half and see me off in a D3 convoy :)

Convoy sounds great. We could help with press coverage if you would like?

Well in my 72,000 miles of on and off road, the only thing that's put me in the garage was me tinkering with things I shouldn't in those three laps of the globe worth of miles. I think it's a magic idea and well possible to get around the world in real comfort so you can appreciate the view; all the very best with it :thumbright:

Make sure you chat up St Nick (Nick Lee at Yeovil Landrover) so he's prepared to ship anything exotic worldwide to you; he has a real knack of tracking down spares others claim are currently unavailable. If you have St Nick on your side you won't go wrong.

Also make sure you have a hi-vis jacket and breathaliser for France, the only country I suspect will cause you any trouble :mutley:

Sorry for the late reply its a busy time and there's still much to do.

Thanks to Pillow Smugglers and others "go for it" attitude. FYI - I checked up with the AA and thought you may wish to see what they say as of today!
"As of the 1st July 2012 it will be compulsory for drivers of all motor vehicles including motorcyclists, excluding mopeds to carry a breathalyser in their vehicle while travelling in France. This will not be enforced until the 1st November 2012, where persons failing to produce a breathalyser will receive a fine on the spot of €11".

Anyhow, I'm now looking to source and enhance vehicle protection and security. i.e. a safe, blacked out windows and back 3 window grills. At the moment I'm hoping that Mobile Storage Systems or Gigglepin and Pentagon will be able to assist, but If anyone has old kit or can point me in a better direction then I'll be grateful.
