Now I know how Jason felt.......

:rasp: :rasp:
Seriously. On the Conti's I've been through most weather conditions, and I didn't once have any twitchy moments. But like you said, we haven't had any particularly bad days this Winter, but on the ones we have, I have felt the GY's to be less grippy. I just felt more confident on the Conti's :thumbright:

Stu your GoodYears are SUV which are different

Your right the 2wd drive was good but it did fail the steepest bit

And it's what when the white stuff comes of all the motors I have with Winters on I will use the 530d caus it so upsets the invincible 4wd brigade

Ah that reminds me of university where Mrs Stu used to have a Fiat 126 - although her's was in the more classy 1970's brown! :D

It was quite funny when we would load it up with 4 students and go shopping. You could just about get 24 cans of beer in the boot!

Clive you missed the important info in my post. I said at uni, therefore I as a student. Therefore beer was food!

Well not for me these days, in fact I barely drink at all, but I'm happy to support you in that belief Ken :thumbright:

Stu wrote:All reasonably safe! Just got back to my room.

Saw some sights I really shouldn't have seen tonight. Also had a North South drinking game - which I totally won!

Each choose a round for both.

My first round choice:

Bailys with a Smirnoff ice chaser

Second round was their choose Martin and Sambuca

Third round
Advocart and whisky (I think this maybe where I won it!)

Fourth round was something like vodka and Tia Maria

Firth round was tequila and Cointreau

And that's when the Northerner gave up!
