Well, SWMBO has driven the car every day so far when she needed to with the Winters on - Its not been bad, just a bit of ice and a smattering of snow, but she wouldn't have driven on the normal tyres and would have walked to work on a few days this year - so have been an excellent confidence booster :thumbright:

There's a hill at one end of the circle we live on that's reasonably steep but a 90 deg bend either way to get to it so no chance of a run. Last reasonable snow in Sunny Surrey went out to play in the D3 and it was a piece of cake. Then went to play in SWMBO's Jazz (on winters) and without thinking headed up this hill with no issue. There was a couple standing on the pavement at the top who lived there and were not used to seeing normal cars go up in the snow, both their jaws dropped. The difference in grip and confidence is immense, well worth the extra spend on a second set of rims. I take either Jazzez out with happily in snow in the Heelands up to about 8", after that it starts to lift the car up & loose grip. Even on sheet ice they do really well but have to remember driving on slick wet ice is pushing it, and drive accordingly.

Saying all that, really heavy snow up there at the mo and so glad I'm down here!!

If only I could think of something useful to type here!! :(

I'm looking for a set of 4 rims for Jane's Jazz - no luck at the moment.
