Can I turn TPMS off?

Just fitted winter/off road wheels and ATs onto D4 that has TPMS. Unfortunately the new wheels don’t have TPMS valves so I’m getting orange triangle of doom and flat tyre on dashboard. Can I switch TPMS off and, if so, how?

Yes, by disabling in CCF. :thumbright:

Guess I’m being a bit dim but how do I do that? I’ve been through the settings menu and I can set tyre pressures in TPMS but there isn’t an option to turn it off altogether :?:

Can't do it easily on my BMW

Or at least not with the tool I have - which is a pain in the arse as the sensors I got for my winters don't tighten onto the rim enough. Or at least they don't at the moment - might do if I drill the step out of the screw cap (Its only plastic as it only really holds it in place.)

I've got to decide first if the message everytime I start the car to tell me it's failed and then the amber light on the dash is too much of a pain

Don’t you have an IID tool Dave? You need that or something similar to disable it.

No, I don’t have it. Guess a bit of black insulating tape over the amber flat tyre light will have to do
