Grabber ATs vs Pirelli?
Grabber ATs vs Pirelli?
Has anyone got views on Grabber ATs vs Pirelli tyres. Some off road use and trailer work, but mainly country side roads. Thanks

Re: Grabber ATs vs Pirelli?
Pirelli seem to cost a bit more there isn't a lot of difference between the performance as far as I know. the grabbers seem to be wearing a bit faster than the pirelli but again it's not a massive difference from what I understand from those who are running them

Re: Grabber ATs vs Pirelli?
My Pirellis always seem to get cracks in the sidewall. I asked Pirelli but they couldn't be arsed to reply.
Different batches as well and not very old either.

Re: Grabber ATs vs Pirelli?
Re Pirelli obvious question but what type? Have just replaced 2 ATRs after Pyrenees damage but that's the first in 4 years of running them with lots of off-road abuse. Never had cracking on sides and last forever, well almost. No extra fuel burn or noise (unlike AT) and never let me down in all conditions apart from deep mud.
Re cost, ATRs were cheaper from TyreLeader than ATs, £120 delivered cf £138 for AT. If my memory serves me.

Hmmmmmm, curious. On my second set with no cracking, lots of shallow cuts & scratches but no cracking.
Which Pirelli question was aimed more at Doomy but Andy's answer is also pertinent.

My Grabber ATs can be a bit droney at 50-55, not too noticeable above or below that though.
