I have 4 charities that I donate to regularly

Scouts & Duke of Edinburgh's award (Technically 2, but I count these as one as it's normally Scouts doing D of E)
RNLI
Mountain Rescue
Naomi House (Childrens Charity)

Personal reasons for the selection. RNLI and Mountain Rescue I treat as paying my insurance. I've never needed either myself yet, but there is a chance that I might do one day and I'd like to feel that I'd paid my subscription if I do!

Scouts and D of E is because I am in involved with both and therefore regularly end up supporting them.

Naomi House is a personal choice and for personal reasons, but they provide care and support to children with life limiting conditions and are local.
