No...it sounds almost as much fun as emptying a caravan toilet...

:rasp: :rasp: :rasp:
Well that has remined me of a funny experience......

Several year ago we were at Billing for the LRO show. We were with a group form the Hants & Berks LRO Club.
We had packed the caravan, done all the job,s including emptying the toilet.
Maureen decided that one more weeeee was needed before the long trip back.
Jenny, one of our friends, said "don't go all the way over to the toilet block, use our caravan"
Maureen accepted the kind invitation as the toilet blocks at Billing can be a bit rank after a week of Land Rover Owner use.
So off she went and did the deed and the paperwork.
Just then Bob, Jenney's husband, appears, walking back from the toilet block with their toilet cassette.
OMG Needless to say that I then had a bit more paperwork to do before we could leave.
Made I laugh though.

Lots more stories like that available if you want.

Mark and I were discussing a weekend event. Laning in Northants on the Saturday and Long Buckby on the Sunday.

Would have to be after summer as the Long Bucky site is closed at the moment but before November when the Lanes close for winter.

We can move this on and get some dates together.

So, I've been thinking, on the events front and not much occuring.

1. Greenlaning in Wales this weekend.
2. Caravan/Camping in August
3. Isle of White in planning
4. Couple of LR shows Summer ish
5. RAIT in a couple of weeks.
6. Laning in Sussex or surrey or whatever. South anyway
7. Return to Buckby and Northampton lanesearly Autumn
8. Pyrenees end of October.

Possible fishing trip with BCC.
And I'm Buildwas has been mentioned as a possible.

But there is nothing going on.

I would def be up for a return to Northants, (got some ghosts to lay!) and Buildwas would be good too.

There is a farm near to me that the local defners use; might be a bit challenging for most D3 (owners, not the cars themselves! lol).

Otherwise, how about a wild camp/bbq one weekend? The Lost Lakes has really wet my appetite for some more of that. It would be really good to have a social evening in a wild setting, with lots of D3'ers sat around a campfire, eating burgers and drinking beer, (or whatever :thumbright: ). If we did it somwhere like last weekend, we could always attempt a lane or 2 like the Steps or Stratos?

I am really busy from the end of July until late August, but keen to get more mud on my nice and shiny (yeah right!) D3 and catch up socially with the excellent peeps in this club :thumbright:
