Monster Trucks @ Cardiff 9th Oct 2010

Post by Neild » Thu Aug 19, 2010 9:17 pm

Adam and Harry have said they'd like to go to this and secretly so do I!!!

Any one else fancy it?, I'm sure the kids would love it!. It's not often the American Trucks come over to the UK 8-) 8-)

MONSTER JAM fans, reach for your diaries and your ear plugs, the show is back with a UK tour.

The UK is officially hosting the most dates on the entire MONSTER JAM tour. Huge public demand has meant that the tour will visit Birmingham for the second time and, after a break of five years, the MONSTER JAM crew can’t wait to roar back into town! The show is on 9 October.

The high octane MONSTER JAM is a stunning family show consisting of the coolest monster trucks and freestyle Motocross with some of the world’s best drivers, sickest tricks and craziest stunts. MONSTER JAM is one of the biggest entertainment events in the US running around 250 shows and selling 2.3 million tickets annually.

A monster truck is approximately 11 feet tall and 12 feet wide. They are unique custom-designed machines and weigh a minimum of 9,000 pounds. The tyres alone are 66-inches tall! Monster trucks are built for short, high-powered bursts of speed; these beasts generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and can hit 100 miles per hour. Monster trucks can jump a distance greater than 14 cars side by side and up to 25 feet in the air.

MONSTER JAM is a one-of-a-kind experience – make sure you don’t miss out!

Tredegar Park is a good caravan site on W side of Newport, used to live near there and take hounds a walk in the park there. Just off M4 J28, very easy to get to. :thumbright: :thumbright:
