Gary, not sure if you are members of the Caravan Club, but this months mag has some suggestions for Top sites for fishing.....

Look Garrry, just because you look like a Gnome doesn't mean you have to go fishing!

Actually I can see the joy of fishing, but my understanding is that you don't really need a rod or to actually try and catch fish. If its just about sitting by the river bank, having the odd beer and a snooze then I'd be up for it, but its the lies I can't live with. You make out that you actually go there to fish!

As for tintents well I saw the episode of top gear list night where they went Caravaning and they asked a woman what they did now that they had arrived, her answer "fill the toilet up"
Says it all really.

I used to love fishing out by my grandfathers in the west of Ireland. we used to put a couple of crates of beer in the boat gin and tonic for my grandfather cruise round the lake with a couple of spinners off the back when stocks looked low you just ran the boat up the beach near the pub ..... happy days
