Re: I fear the first of many posts!
That's what ours is - but this looks like a triple bunk - ours is just the 2CDS wrote:Bailey Senator Carolina, has since been replaced though
No plans on changing ours - though it might go this year as we aren't using it enough - might get a Triumph Spitfire or similar and hotel it to places. Probably cheaper

Yep, it was triple bunks, the replacement is the same layout (Pegasus 646), it's the only one that works for us with 4 kids

Re: I fear the first of many posts!
I see a lot of the larger rig designs have gone from double to single axle too; other than weight/cost is there another reason for that?

Re: I fear the first of many posts!
I think it's purely down to weight Dom. Weight does seem to be a big issue. I guess if you're a manufacturer, the lower the weight the more buyers you can appeal to. Obviously with the Disco it's not an issue as your caravan is never going to be 85% of 3 tons of towing vehicle.

Re: I fear the first of many posts!
I know somebody with a 2.2T 'van not quite 85%, but close, not sure I'd want to be bothered towing it!

Re: I fear the first of many posts!
Aren't US airstreams a bit of a weight? And the 5th wheelers?
