Maybe, remember how excited we were 2 years ago? The whole things almost a decade late, no doubt if it misses this year's it be promised in 2018.

Won't be there, will be in NE Finland and/or Norway at that time.

Oh, and assuming the "Fringe" will still be on post Shoreham. Well it is the official crash zone.

If only I could think of something useful to type here!! :(

Well ,I went to Fairford for the day - spent 3 hrs in traffic and I started at 7am! however, contrary to Derek's favourite aircraft being the usual show stopper (The old F-16) , the limited F-35B demonstration (the jump jet) was worth the attendance. I can now retire known years of hard work has paid off!

There was no camping at all on the side we were at last and the year before policing was intense - not even cyclists were allowed down the lanes. Nearest pay site was on the hill by fairford village and that was way to far away from the flight line.

It also did a demo at Farnborough that was more for potential buyers with a spare $50m burning a hole in their pocket.

So Derek, when you get the opportunity go see it - you won't be disappointed.
