Re: Birthday Bash
Walters Arena would be good, but I think Nick said that there's no water supply there. Although I would have thought that the owners have contacts that supply bowsers, toilets, showers etc.......

Re: Birthday Bash
Given there's been a lot of talk about wales recently (opening up options for day 2 of the weekend), this place looks great, and appears to have some good facilities.
I also like the style of a 'green lane' based pay and play site that would perhaps appeal to more of the club?
Appreciate this isn't exactly central - Those north of watford gap won't have it too bad, but those east and south will have a 4 hour odd drive.
Still - Worth putting it out there as it looks a fantastic place. The forest setting on the coast just looks amazing

Re: Birthday Bash
Just trying to pick this up again.
Still looking for ideas for events during the day for both off-roading and family ideas.

Re: Birthday Bash
Gymkhana, forest type lanes, big ass BBQ, alcohol, plot for tents and caravans
I think activities for the kids is the weakest / hardest - but I'd be happy to help with some sort of foresty treasure hunt one of the days?
Hoping some of the scout leaders will have some cracking ideas.
Thinking about it - what was the event where we had the challenges like holding a brick off the ground as high as we can with bamboo?

Re: Birthday Bash
A gymkhana /RTV might be appealing to those with ageing vehicles who are now nervous of tempting providence!
