'SmugglerFamily all home safe and sound also.

A brilliant long weekend and dare I say, best camp ever for us too  I certainly got 5x more sleep than I normally do, and the new schedule of events format was very much better IMHO

Big thanks to everyone who just mucked in and made everything work so smoothy, and especially Sir Nick who was the BBQ tong-meister supreme making sure everyone had their food good and hot even though his was cooling fast on the side! :notworthy:

Thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company and cameradary - and especially good to see the kids all getting along with each other so well.

Thanks all, very much looking forwards to the next one :thumbright:

Cannot add any more to above comments! Brilliant weekend, Company, children getting along and the classiest BBQ of many different meats you could dream of, thank you Nick (& Maureen for letting him out to play..).
We have come home needing a few more envy gadgets, but that's life. Highlight was Stu sitting in a Caravan listening to the Archers.. Thought I was the old tw@t.!

Non Smokey heating for the Event Shelter would be worth looking into.

Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

Great weekend, lovely site, great company , weather was ok & a lot better than I was expecting.

I too saw a few gadgets that are now on my wish list. Lol.

Richard, Maureen says that there is nothing wrong with the Archers, & that Stu & her were just showing their class.
The kids were amazing, the only tears were from the odd fall or trip etc. I loved Sharon's ice cream, very creamy.

As for the BBQ etc, doesn't everybody eat like that all, the time? Or am I on a different planet?
I thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk as far as I wanted & stand and cook as much as I wanted. I hadn't realized how poorly I was before. All Good & improving still.

God bless & take care all.

Glad you all had a good time, gutted couldn't make it as we are slumming it in Barcelona this weekend :)
Sold our caravan last weekend, too many disasters for us so it's back to normal holidays and will probably get another tent for the odd weekend away.

I've been lent an air beam infinity 800.
Hoping to test it out in a couple of weeks with a view to buying one.

Anyone have any recommendations for somewhere that's good for a couple of days that's children biased?

I like Swanage and Crofe. They're nice to go to.

Sand balls in the New Forest has swimming pools etc but isn't the cheapest place on earth.

Depends wht you want / need.

Wish we'd have been able to attend too but we were touring Germany instead.

Hope to make the next meet whenever that might be :)
