Salisbury lanes recce.......

Got an idea for an event, want to see an event run that is currently run. Any discussions prior to an event being launched as an official event should go in here.

I had a few suspension issues, most of which were resolved with the usual 'off and on' approach. But had one situation where the rear end decked out and probably took 15 minutes to rectify!
Thankfully all electricary and Magic so it did finally decide to right itself allowing me to carry on.
Other than that (and being penned in a few times while watching others clear the lanes (at least that's what I told everyone), it was a great day, just a shame we didn't get a few more lanes in and that I couldn't stay later into the evening.13 hours in the car (minus the tree hacking) is about my limit though, I'm shattered!

Lots of well manicured bushes in the Salisbury area now then

Jimbo was there aswell :thumbright:
Thanks for the help lads.
All was going well until we came across a lane that none of us had ever driven before..... After about 1/2mile of pruning we emerged out of the other end. It's a nice lane but I'm afraid we didn't have the time to clear all of it back. So if there's enough people that don't mind a bit of bramble rash, then I'll include it in one of the routes :thumbright:
How do I upload pics from my iPhone?

A few pics.
This lane had no signage on it, but the military appear to have built a simulation check-point on it

We came across a few of these

And lots of this, which is destined for the grading of the lanes

I'm guessing VA's crossing will look very different once this Emergency TRO has expired.

Hmmmm, looks like fun there. Not sure I want to subject the FF to that kind of bramble rash though. Dirt I don't mind, that's easy to wash off. Will it be a scratchy day out do you think?
