A very decent weekend. Lovely to see the chaps and especially enjoyed the barbecue. Also a massive thanks to Jamie (ArdbegBold) for the lend of all his gear, the tent was already up when I got there and a most impressive bit of kit it is too. My 1st time in a tent and 'twas a decent night's sleep. My Lad thoroughly enjoyed himself and apparently caught loads of Pokemons. Hmmmm.

As for the show, some nice looking vehicles, one or two impressive displays in the arena (especially the Bowlers) and what seemed like 3 gazillion stands with overpriced tat. Didn't buy anything anyway aside from a 5 quid portion if sausage and chips.

Great weekend had by me and the kids (once we got there that is!) so a big thanks to all involved. Great to meet those that were there and put some names to faces too.

Looking forward to another meet in the not too distant future.

More like they wouldn't let you on the course in it
Tragically I decided to keep the G4 clean for once in it's life and save the £25 (!) course fee to contribute to SWMBO's new handbag

I did see one going round last year - but lets be honest, it's been designed so that everyone can get round it - so if the freelander can get round it then I'd hope I wouldn't have too much trouble.

Turning circle would kill it!

If I've still got it next year  I'll take it round. :thumbright:

Sadly I havent done any off roading in it. Probably be better with an E class estate to be honest!

Ian,

Many thanks for putting together this weekend.
I really enjoyed the show, the company and the BBQ :rasp:

I look forward to a nice drive off road together.
