Should be a good crack.

So, a couple of bits of extra info.

I'll be bringing BBQ charcoal, my tripod BBQ which will double up as a fire pit afterwards. Alfamale is bringing his BBQ so should be plenty of space for cooking.
I'll also be bringing some extra salads/rolls/condiments/meats/serviettes etc for the traditional Saturday night BBQ.
ArdbegBold I think has offered up some lamb, so will be plenty of fine fayre!
I'll get some pop for whatever kids we'll have amongst us.
Please feel free to bring beer/wine/G&T I'll pick up a bag of ice!

If you have some wood around and can bring a bag, that would help greatly for the fire. Please don't bring your old kitchen cupboards/chipboard/mdf as it will stink the place out.

I should have the gaze..... Event shelter so we can have a central congregation point, probably in the middle of the stand.
Weather is a bit unsure of itself at the moment, looking cloudy and possibly a bit of rain, but overall it should be dryish!
Flags will be arriving via Clem and ReggieB on Saturday morning, Dean has the Club banner.

For a change, I'm looking to get there for mid day, so have the car passes for those people who I haven't seen to hand them to.
I'll drop my mobile number to you so any problems at the gate, let me know.
See you at Peterborough!

I've got some logs from when I felled a tree a few months back. Not sure if they'd be dry enough yet? Oh and I don't have an axe to chop them up. Happy to bring them though.

I'm sure I'll have my axe with me. Are they rounds that need splitting or branch logs?

A mix Ian. it used to be a medium sized crabapple tree so I have trunk rounds and branch pieces as well.

EDIT. Just filled 2 tesco bags with the sensible sized pieces. Should be a decent fire or two in them.

I'm gutted I can't be down there with you guys this year. First time in quite a few I've not been there.

I was late seeing the signup, but also have some personal commitments to attend to (airport runs for family etc).

Fingers crossed for good weather for you all. We've been lucky before for that, Peterborough seems to have a good micro-climate.

Enjoy :thumbright:
