BAS PC in Screen LRO Mag July 2010

Post by Neild » Sat Jun 19, 2010 6:10 pm

Pete,

Saw your little advery for a PC screen in place of the OEM sat nav screen. Couple of questions:

Do you take out and loose the OEM Screen and wires?
Is this a stand along screen for a PC or can you still use it for the LR Sat Nav, TV and 4x4 info?
Assume you put a small PC in the boot or glove box?
Do you use a wires less mouse and Keyboard?

Further info required :thumbright:

All info gladly recieved :thumbright:

You get the wrong impression Neil.

That is an OEM screen in the shots, I would have already been to have it fitted if it included screen

Pete also says PC not included

I believe this is an input for the existing screen.

Pete is this a vga input or just RCA?

Does the screen still use the touch screen function for controlling the PC, I.E. a usb input for the pc.

How do you access screen? i.e. is it easy to switch between oem, 4x4 etc.

What about sound if you switch to PC does the car audio switch to the PC aswell?

Thanks

:censored: me...I'm completely lost....

Neil posts about a touch screen in the original housing and a PC and then it turns out that there is no PC and the screen is the OEM one....

...so what exactly is this thread all about? :surprise:
