Another air conditioning issue

Post by DeWet » Sat Oct 30, 2021 5:06 am

Finally got my aircon regassed a week ago after getting the vehicle in the winter.
From the 1st day it didn't have a working fan which was replaced.
From there low pressure errors from scans so took it in to get regassed. Aircon worked all the way home and then only hot air from the next day on.

Scanned it and no low pressure errors.
Looked at output data and it shows "Climate control switch inputs - air conditioning." as off.
When I press the econ button on and then off again I can see it goes on and then immediatly off again.

Any ideas where to start diagnosing this instead of the usuall replace condensor, compressor and pressure switch?

I'm afraid I can't help as I never had an issue with my aircon apart from the compressor failed due to a hole in a pipe.

Not sure where you are but there are some good independents about the country .

Im in Eudlo. I did get a replacement compressor just in case but trying to find out if there are other things I can look at before removing pipes, replacing and needing to regas it again. After which it might still have the same issue if the cause was something else.
