OK, so about a week or two ago. Car started fine drove 50 yards down the road had lost all power and special features off type fault came up. Frantically Google and reading every thread on the other D3 forum and half come to the conclusion that It maybe a sticking actuator but I think I can hear it doing its thing when I turn off the ignition. I had let the tank run low a few times lately so changed fuel filter and air filter as I don't know the last time it was done. Checked for a split in the intercooler pipe also put my hand over the intercooler end of it till the engine stalled, so guess that's air tight. My EGRs are blanked. Today my icarsoft V2 arrived and have a P140c. I understand this Is the middle part of the EGR. So tomorrow will check the butterfly and see if it's there, open or closed. The car runs but not over 1000 revs and when warmed up won't go above 2500. All special program don't work. I have a lot of photos of live data. And did have a screenshot from the other forum to cross reference. But asking am I barking up the right tree going into the egr rather than turbo actuator as I don't fancy that DIY.

OK. So good news is I must have removed the butterfly.
Bad news is I don't know where to go with this next

You can't necessarily look at the generic fault wording for these codes. I'm out of touch with the latest scanning tools but a lot of the generic ones don't read all the modules - having said that the engine ECU is one of the ones that has to be open to all scanners AFAIK.

There are a number of things that it could be - turbo, turbo actuator, high pressure fuel pump, low pressure fuel pump.

I would probably be cheaper to get it into a proper specialist.

Thank you for your input. The code pointed to the egrin the left side. So through some elimination 10 mins later I unplugged the electrical plug to the EGR, and all is good again.
