No I tried with the new firmware too, but the same fault occurred.

Was well worth a shot, and I've obviously learnt a lot in the process - think I could swap a compressor over with my eyes closed now!

Stupid question, but what's the difference between the hitachi and AMK compressors if buying new?

Other than the temperature sensors being different (hence the need for different software) I'm not sure to be honest Dave. Perhaps someone like Bods has seen them apart side by side and can comment.
I put back a refurb'd Hitachi in mine so I have not seen the AMK.
I know I did (attempt) to fix what looked like a design weakness in the refurb unit, and I'd hope the AMK has resolved that (no seal found between the base of the cylinder and the crank casing - i cleaned the clay dust out and used silicone during reassembly).

Bugger!

Just fitting a new AMK and am getting the same fault (plus a new one) that I was on my original....

Suspension

C1A13-64 (AF) Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery - Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure
( at 177014 km )
C1A36-01 (AF) Exhaust valve - General failure information - general electrical failure
( at 177014 km )

C1A36-01 being the new fault

What's really odd is that the C1A36-01 fault is thrown immediately after a reset, while the engine is off...!

Dave - this is a long shot and is probably complete Horlicks - especially in your situation.

I used to get various suspension problems - usual bings & bongs.

However I don't have an IID or similar. In the end I had a good look over the three connectors behind the NSF wheel arch - I cleaned them completely of muck etc, checked for any breaks and then used silicone to seal the pins / connectors. Any suspect wires you could just solder directly.

IIRC there are also a couple near the NSR wheel chassis.

If all else fails and you don't mind spending a happy hour it might at least eliminate one possibility.

It looks like the clip on the CAN connector (not sure what it's proper name is!) to the compressor is broke.
Couple that with a slightly shorted cable on the AMK and it was slipping back just a couple of mm after being plugged in and was doing all kinds of crazy stuff.

What lead me there was a static 20,000+ kpa gallery pressure (while the compressor was off) with a temperature of 9 degrees...

Cable ties deployed and all looks good :thumbright:

So can you just put my compressor back on for me and test it again for me  ;)
