Good afternoon, I am writing from Spain, since the discovery 3 forum of my country has closed, discovering this and appreciating that it has a high level.
I have a doubt the positive terminal of my battery does not tighten enough and this causes starting failures, I have looked at spare parts and I only find the complete cable, would they know of some place that only sold the terminal.
Or any way to fix this , thanks a lot in advance

Re: POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Its not an uncommon problem. I had it myself at one point and just used something to pack out the space - silver foil I think.
Certainly not an approved method - but other than that the only other way apart from a new terminal is to add some material to the battery post - solder for example. Just watch for heat and battery gasses

Re: POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
The issue is usually the end of the clamp area. Either file down the end so that it can clamp tighter or firstly make sure that when you put the clamp on the terminal, you use a small screwdriver in the end of the clamp to seperate it a little and make sure the clamp is all the way down on the battery before tightening it up.

Re: POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
I have the same issue. For the negative, I replaced with a proper simple terminal. There are also battery terminal shims available on eBay that look good and cheap. I have done a lot of work on the standard terminals, but after as while they just do not seem to work. search on this... 2Pc Car Battery Lead Repair Shim Fix For Car Worn Posts Loose Fitting Terminals. I just bought some.
