Stu, my brother has just bought a Q1200 for his new overland trailer. It's pretty compact, and can use small portable canisters :thumbright:

For now at least, it turns out that I wasn't being forced into a snap purchase - it was a complete coincidence, so at the moment I'm in no danger of towing my :poo: behind me :lol: :lol: :lol:
I think the writing is on the wall however...so I just hope my transition is as noble as Stu's u-turn when the time comes!

Actually Rich, I think the last nail in the coffin was a recent scout family camp; after several thunderstorms there was a good couple of gallons of water between the tent and the groundsheet, and it was damned coooooold in there as all the heat was just sucked out of our feet.
