What model / layout did you go for Stu?
We've been looking at them of late as well. Our favourite setup so far is dual bunks at the back on one side with table & chairs opposite.
Toilet & shower in the middle.
And at the front a 'sofa' that converts to a double bed.
Seems to tick all the boxes and allows us to put the kids to bed while still having somewhere to sit ourselves inside should the weather be bad!

Dave we went for Similar to that but slightly different. We have triple bunks at the back (on one side and then rather than seating next to it we have the washroom. This was good for us because we have three children and because the wash room it almost square there is plenty of room in the shower and on the loo!

Then in the middle we have kitchen on one side and dinette on the other. We then have a U shaped lounge area. We could have had drawers in the middle but again with 5 having the middle seat was ideal and it meant the bed is enormous. We bought a super king size sheet for it and it only just fits.

Here are some photos:

It looks good, but it does appear to have a built in voyeur to the toilet facilities; isn't that a bit weird?

The AluTech is a very impressive construction, I am surprised they are not all built that way.

Very Nice :thumbright:

Go for a Weber bbq if you can. Good size and portable. They do a caravan kit to hook up to the bbq port (if you have one?) but the legs etc are dismatlable. Just got a new one, went for a Weber Q2200 with stand. They do a smaller one to. Even a pink one

5 year warranty though.

Thanks I'll take a look. I've got a Webber at home and love it. Ideally I'd like something that will fit in a locker.

Just popped into the camp and caravan shop for some new rock pegs, and I'm wondering whether I've been stitched up like a kipper by swmbo
