Don't be conned into a AluTech, apparently there are loads of problems with them despite apparently being the new technology, which everybody will be using.

Any one going for a tin tent???
Try the Coachman brand.
Not the cheapest , but build quality is superb. IMHO that is.

Neil is after a van after a weekend in the tent. I did turn the heating down a bit to experience the "wild" camping, but I didn't like it so turned it back up again.

You didn't nead any heating on, it was so mild.

Anyone want to come camping in feb, we could make it really wild and go without tents?

Leave the jet boils at home and cook on a real fire?

Me too if can persuade SWMBO. Not very successful when I asked "when we getting a caravan?" on the phone, might have to be more subtle!

Great weekend peeps, just had night in real bed last night and wunderbar compared with the camp cot & thermarest. Caravan would be even better!

What is all this heating everyone's banging on about? It was a lovely warm weekend and incredibly mild overnight.
I slept on top of the duvet as it was just too warm otherwise, as the heat kicked out by the iPhone charger was just too much to bear.

Wimps :rasp:
