Well we are booked into the site you recommended Nick. Stu we did seriously look at driving down to Swanagish but I rang the site and they are full.

Sorry Clare, only just noticed this. Sarah is ok, but getting less and less mobile now. I don't think it's longMrsClayton wrote:How is Sarah doing Garry? (and before anyone comments, not THAT kind of doing )

I have to get in before anyone else does!
Don't worry about it - size isn't everything and it does seem to have got the job doneKingmav66 wrote:I don't think it's long

Re: What to do/camp around Stroud or Weston Super Mare
thanks for all the suggestions, we had a great weekend away.
Nick the site was a great family run business, amazed how quite it was probably only at 25 % capacity. there where a few things others might not have liked but where not a problem to us near a dual carriage way so road noise (probably teh sound proofing in your tin tent prevent you hearing it) not an issue to us just not silent country sounds. also the site is slopping in places but our pitch was fine. and no mobile coverage (on O2) to unable to waste time on the internet!!!! But the did do a special offer of 3 night for teh price of 2 so made it even cheaper. We would defiantly go back.
Garry Friday we where going to go to Cattle country, but a last minute invite to see the circus performance that Alex was photographing with her photography mentor scuppered that plan. The circus was Gifford's at Frampton on Severn. We only saw a few acts if you get the chance to see teh whole show I imaging it would be amazing as the small show we saw was great. Sat lazy day then a trip over to teh dean heritage centre Boys loved teh Gruffalo trail and teh wood carvings. Sunday so we headed home via a great little Gelato (Ice cream ) place in Cirencester.
Thanks again for the suggestions Think we will be heading back to that part of the country again having never been there. So much to do
