North Wales Camp Sites
I've stayed in a few sites in the region and these are my favourites so far :
http://www.coolcamping.co.uk/campsites/ ... edd/cae-du
- right on the coast with spectacular views
- allows camp fires
http://www.bwch-yn-uchaf.co.uk/
- right next to bala lake railway
- also a good site for tin tents
http://www.bwlchgwynfarm.co.uk/
- in the hills overlooking barmouth bay
- also has pony trekking facilities on site
http://www.rynys-camping.co.uk/
- near Betws-y-Coed
- very peaceful with spectacular views

Re: North Wales Camp Sites
The sites in the cool camping book / website have always been really good. Ive stayed at a few of them and they have all been special in some way. Although most seem to be small sites that arent massively commercial but have great views / atmosphere. We have camped right on the edge of quite a few lochs in Scotland that we found in cool camping.
Best of all, most don't seem to have tintents.
