Places booked for 2011....

Post by Neild » Wed Mar 02, 2011 2:07 pm

The sun is out and the caravan has had a spring clean.... so, deciding where to go!. Where are you going?

We've booked a site in North DEvon for May half term and of course we have Swanage for the early part of August. Looking to get away quite a bit of over Easter holidays, although we'll await the glorious british first before deciding to mooch out.

Where are you planning to go this year?

Think we'll be going to the Lake District - Caravan and Camping Club Keswick site, somewhere in Wales as we have a big family wedding out that way in July and then a few long weekends in the Peak District as it's only 90 minutes drive, perfect for leaving after work on Thursdays and coming home Sunday/ Monday!

I was going to thank Neil for posting all of his movements means we can avoid going where he is! But Richards reply is much better!

We are thinking of Spain or Italy or Southern France. Driving there and camping. We had a good time last year and would like to do more of the same.

We're flying to sunny Gibraltor this year after three years of mixed weather, SWMBO wants guaranteed sun!
Don't think we've got a gaff booked yet though, but the flights are!

Will be coming accross to Spain for the holiday, but the flights were dirt cheap to the rock. :thumbright:

Oh and we won't be stuck behind any Pikey Fettlers!

We're planning a weekend this month - and then we are hoping for something at Easter and May half term.

Was thinking of using our freebie to Dunkirk for a few days in May, but may move it and use it for our main holiday in Germany :thumbright: Not the Tintent that one though.

Want to get a few in to get the average cost per night down
