Went here for a birthday party with Harry today, and although we've there 10x before we didnt really think about the camping on site there .
Whilst there we enquired and had a butchers around the site. AWESOME! , really pretty and dead quiet, right in the middle of the forest. EHU, Hardstanding, Elsan points and water taps every 20 yards or so. The pitches are grouped together or in 1 single/double isolated area's, so good for quiet or fun.
Campsite map here: http://www.wellington-country-park.co.u ... ut%201.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as you can see its really spcaed out .
High season for a family of 4 is £38 per night BUT included in this is access into the park itself which has a boating lake, miniture train, take walk, petty zoo, massive play equipment and slides and lots more.
There is also a Firework Night eVent on the 6th November. Might take the van if anyone else fancies it - been before awesome display. The site would be perfect for a night or two or a group event

We've camped there before. I think we paid about £25 and that included loads of bands to listen to, free fair ground rides (dodgems etc.), trip on the river, hot air balloon flight and tons of other stuff. All through John Lewis partnership.
Oh and they had a Pataks Curry bus! Awesome - massive curry for about £1.50 - I think I had three in one day
