Thanks Stu
Very useful - most of it I probably knew - but my age means I forget stuff.

Re: Sleeping Bag
I agree with the mummy shape being warmer, but as I'm a spinning top when asleep I found that it was so clingy I would wake up from nightmares of being throttled
The silk liners are amazing; thoroughly recommend the single/double bed (not sleeping bag) versions for when travelling abroad, especially on the cheap; always nice to have a clean envelope to sleep in no matter how tired the bed/sheets are

Re: Sleeping Bag
You can but sleep pods now which are really big sleeping bags that allow you to move about. I bought one for Vic. I've not tried it so can't comment directly but she likes it but has only used it with a winter duvet on top and electric blanket underneath!

They get lost really easy, you put it down on the grass and you can't find it again.Bigcarpchaser wrote:Ex army ones any good?

Re: Sleeping Bag
That's going to be a big and heavy bag, probably nice and warm but I wouldn't want to carry it anywhere.
