Re: New Head Torch
I did wonder about using a flash gun and a slave so that the flash fired backwards and essentially just massively over exposed everything. A decent flash would be able to fire for both flashes from a Gatso. Equally a solve works off the light hitting it so timing won't be an issue as its design to fire a flash at the same time as another one. Certainly within the time a shutter would be open.

Re: New Head Torch
Just to kick this back into the light, my H7 died a grizzly death few weeks before Chrimbo. Emailed LED Lenser to see if repairable, long story cut short new H6 handed to me by the postie after I sent the old one off on Monday. Most excellent Cust Services.

Good stuff. Is the H6 a downgrade? If you do it enough do you eventually end up with a candle and a box of matches?

No, 200lm and same variable control as H7. Only difference is additional strap for over top of head. Not on web site though and only one mention on Amazon from a German co.
