Sunday afternoon work

Well after replacing the the bent poles of my foxwing markise this afternoon an fitting the markise again on my Takla Makan Trailer, I started to build a roof bar for John's Prospeed roof rack.
First I welded the clamp together which looks like this:

I'm beginning to think that you could make those bars from scratch starting with iron ore and still get them on the car quicker :lol: :lol:
