I got talking to two chaps at the Outdoors Show who have set up a small line in technical clothing. Website is http://www.jottnar.com/ Although it is a Scandinavian name (Norwegian apparently) it is a British company run by two ex-Royal Marines (they spent a lot of time in and around Jottnar in the winter.... ).

They have small line of clothing but vey well thought out and looks to be excellent quality....so good I bought some items

I bought a Fjorm down jacket and Uller base layer. Mrs JF Lux got herself the Alfar mid-layer.

I highly recommend these two guys - they are enthusiastic and have put thought into what they want to design and produce (and free UK shipping).

Doesn't whether it's a kilt or a poncho depend on your height?
