The MACbook is the same, though not as bad as the tablet.

Unless there is a very quick update, I'll be ditching Chrome and going to something else.

I'll second that - my chrome experience is actually degrading as time goes by, getting worse each and every day and it's definitely slowing Windoze down. Looks like it's time to dust off the fox...

Funnily enough I installed fox on my MAC because my home automation server uses Java and it only works on 64bit browsers so Chrome doesn't support it.

Don't particularly like it at the moment. But mostly due to it being different.

It's deffo what you're used to - I used to prefer the fox to chrome, so for me it won't be too bad to go back. I'll miss the cloud shared bookmarks with the other devices until I've foxxed everything else up too.

I've dusted off my copy of Opera and it's just told me the old tab sync function is no longer supported. Looking like the Fox then.

Just to add - the chrome problems I have are unique to this site. Absolutely no problems with any other one.

they are John.

and I have no idea at the moment why that is. there is nothing unusual any the code, doesn't use anything special like flash.
