This week I have been mostly fixing everything the scrote broke or removed last week.

New USB charger and cables installed, connections for new Blackview made ready, A-pillar trim repaired. Not sure what to replace the iPod with at this time. I have an android multimedia box I'm thinking of giving a go; anyone had any long term experience of these?

Saving fuel, well for the few miles back to Kuusamo in Finland.

Long and short of it, the bit of the gearbox shift cable that anchors the cable to the box broke in two, leaving the car shut down but box in D. Finnish mechanic's done a bang up repair job, and no gaffer tape used. :thumbright:

Yes, I think that is it. It doesn't look quite tight.
Will pull it all apart and take a look.

Not anymore. D3's engine is fubared and I'm in a tiddly airport (SKN) waiting on a flight to Oslo then on to Heathrow. Will return in the D4 to pick up my stuff and the D3 will be scrapped. End of an era but the economics of getting it back and repairing it are utter madness so she'll be spending the rest of her days in Sortland, Arctic Norway, til she's broken up. :( :(

New Dee's next job is to head up to Sortland and retrieve all my stuff and watch me pick over the carcass. That will be on Wednesday am, will be a very sad day.
