Motor Easy Warranty

Post by Stu » Thu Dec 27, 2018 7:29 pm

Anyone know anything about Motoreasy warranty? Is it any good? Pricing seems good for Plan B lite - seems to cover most stuff inc wear and tear but you have to get it to the garage which shouldn’t be an issue with breakdown relay cover.

I had it and got rid. Only managed one successful claim from 3 or 4 attempts.

What plan did you have and what did you try and claim for?

Started with the Plan B and got the rear upper arms done under that. I then went to a Plan C because of mileage and got nothing back from them for the following:

Power Steering Pump
Lower Steering Column
Rear Propshaft

At this point, and 130k miles on the clock, I realised a warranty was worthless and I was better putting the money away every month to cover the bills. I now try to do as much as possible myself.

It was plan B or B lite I was looking at. As far as I can tell the only difference between them was whether you could drive the car I to a garage or had to arrange recovery if a light came on.
