Look forward to seeing it. Not seen a split roof version before, but it sounds much better than the fixed version.

8 speed is well worth it, plus some other changes were done around then as well.

38k is pretty low mileage as well.

Yeah I did have a struggle to get the mileage I wanted. Got offered loads at nearly 70k. I'll have a couple of years before the big cambelt service.

8 speed is light years ahead Stu, you'll be glad you did and, much as it pains me to admit it, Andy was right

Really chuffed for you bud. :thumbright:

Well I collected it today! It's been a pita and I ended up sending a bit of a moany email last night and I said that I want them to bring it to their Slough dealership today so I could collect it on my way back from Harry Potter World!

Anyway it seemed to work and that's what they did.

Drive is smooth refined and there seems to be a whole load of power there. (I'll see what that's like in due course).

Drive about 80 miles home. 1.5 hours in stop start crawling traffic and then the motorway. I got 37mpg on the way home which quite frankly was unbelievable. I know that's off the dash but compared to my 22mpg on the D3 it's a world apart.

So far things that are wrong are:

I was told it had a split sunroof so the middle one opened and that was an upgrade on a standard HSE - it doesn't and isn't. I wonder why I'd never heard of it before!

No towing electrics cover

No key for the towbar

No parcel shelf

No recent stamp on the log book.

On the plus side - I've found it has timed hearing active already!

I'll try and get some photos of it in daylight. Might as well have a record of when it looked clean!

Thought they could have lashed out on a electrics cover. Looks pretty shi-te if trying to sell it without. Think I have a parcel shelf roller thing, I'll have a look tomorrow.

Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

Tow bar issue could well be covered by the TSB.......
