Phil asked for the spec, most of which is above but just for him:

2012 D4
3.0l SDV6 255bhp
8 Spd gearbox
Bought it with 38k on the clock - came with 36!

Orkney Grey exterior
Black ebony interior
Came with tow bar and electrics
Privacy glass
Possibly different wheels to normal?
Timed FBH enabled

I found it plays DVD's as well is that standard spec?

Also came with low batteries in the smart key so I've replaced them and screen wash was low!

Did you check the MOT to make sure it was new ?.

DVD's play on that model, actually pretty good quality.

I did think the wheels looked different, but I am not very up to date on the different wheels.

In terms of the towbar issue mate I would fit the fixed one and mount the electrics down by the towball somewhere. That way the cover can be left in place all the time. Stronger bar and looks much better. No chance of losing the plastic screw things either.

RE the sunroof, I can't recall ever seeing a split option on D3 or D4. This Landmark I'm in at the moment doesn't have it but it does seem to have every other option ever dreamt up. I must admit to rather liking it, I'd kind of forgotten how good a Discovery really is. Orkney Grey is a much more sensible colour than this wedding car though

The DVD thing was there from 2011 even without rear screens. Does yours have the rear screens BTW? How about the IPOD interface? Or bluetooth streaming? They were all 2012 MY upgrades I think.

Nice rims too :thumbright:

Yes mine has a USB port and a iPod port (also USB) and Bluetooth audio streaming.

Seems to have all I need!

Hi All,

Can anybody tell me if part number VPLAT0011 genuine LR tow bar electric kit will fit a 2016 Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0 SD V6 HSE Luxury (s/s) 5dr?

I have searched and some sites advise that they are only compatible up to 2014 model.

Regards
Paul
