I saw that and I don't understand how the eagle doesn't get hurt. I caught my arm on my blades once (just as they were starting to spin up) and it was incredibly painful. So when the blades are well up to speed it must be almost impossible to not injure the eagle? I've seen blades chop through reasonably thick branches!

I see the Met are now looking into using eagles as well. Brings a new meaning to the Flying Squad!

I know hawks legs are pretty robust, but if a drone can trim branches then it's in real danger of losing its feet imho.

I saw a tweet about this the other day, it's true. It will be a feather in their cap who ever came up with this idea. I expect they will have a high flying career in the police.

Probably save them a lot of money as they will be cheeper than other solutions
