I've made a small change to the settings this evening and would appreciate some feedback.

Basically, if you upload an attachment into a thread, the forum will attempt to produce a thumbnail.

For images, the result is as below:

There is no need to place inline
IMG_2404 EOS-1D Mark III.jpg
Vauxhall

But if you do, then the image appears where you add it in the text, otherwise it appears at the end.

Not quite the same thing Marc, as you are using a host for the images - I was really refering to attachments to the thread directly.

You have linked the thumbnail from the host and the full size image from the host into the thread :thumbright:

True, but I wanted to "prove" that this method is easier and more convenient ...
But that is just my opinion ...

You have to upload to something either way - this way, you can multiple upload attachments and they will appear in the post as clickable tumbnails (Quite big though!) and that's it. Your way (Which is fine!) you have to upload, then individually copy the links :thumbright:

But if the files are already hosted, then your way is probably more efficient :thumbright:

Was only a tick box Stu :thumbright:

I reckon even Ben could have done it :rasp:
