Video Gallery

Post by anglefire » Sat Jun 16, 2018 11:16 am

I've added an extension to enable video's to be kept in one place and categorised as well as viewed within the forum.

Not sure if it a good idea yet - but it does mean they can be found I guess!

At the top of the forum is a new icon to the video gallery

Comments and video links please!

Corsica - 2018
Nice compilation Mark. Got any stats, as I know you must have.
A summary perhaps, like how long the trip was, dates that you went, ferry to Corsica. Track log etc.
I see Simon went , recognised his truck and grizzley face, and it looked like Clives G4 with the rear mounted spare.

That was my vid, Andy.

We did a ten-day trip to Corsica. Left Thursday morning to get the tunnel to Calais. From Calais we travelled down to Troyes for a camping overnighter and then down to Toulon the following day for an 20:00 ferry crossing to Ajaccio. This arrived at 07:00ish the Saturday morning.

We then spent six days travelling around the island, first heading North and then making our way around that area before heading south through the centre of the island, taking in a few tracks en-route.

Friday afternoon we then got back to Ajaccio for the return ferry, which arrived in Toulon at 07:00 Saturday morning. Clive and Ian didn't join us (   ) so we decided to just hit the road at 07:30 and see how far we got...got back home at midnight, which included a three hour wait at the tunnel terminal for an earlier crossing.

No worries, Mark. Clive has one too, with some great drone footage. :thumbright:

Thanks for the summary Simon, looked a great trip. Its one I'd like to do in the Disco too, as I've been there with the family in tow with a hire car and its rugged... and so picturesque

Mark, Just one note about the video 'storage area' is it possible to label them simply eg 'Corsica May 2018' , Salisbury Plain Nov 2017, etc or alike. At the mo they are just entries so hard to figure out which is which.

Andy,

No you can't easily do that - the video's are just categorized and not named - I could add more categories, but can only do so many.

There has been a request made to the author to allow the video title to be included in the information, but it hasn't been done yet.
