AGM 2021

Welcome to 2021!
It’s fair to say that the last year has definitely not been the greatest for events and activities!
Hopefully the coming months will see more and more shows and events being able to take place as the vaccines are rolled out and the (non)events of last year can be lost to history (I’m not sure it will be quite that easy!)

However, we must look onward to 2021 and 2022.

This year we are currently planning on attending Peterborough LRO show (assuming it can and does go ahead).
We have been discussing other weekend or day trips out such as to Salisbury plain towards winter for the usual Christmas jaunt.

We’d be happy to support any members who are able to attend and co-ordinate club attendance at other more local events as and when they come up, this does require input and support from you, the members.

We know that activities this year won’t be quite the same as previous years, to this end, we are forward planning for more stable times and looking to put on a large event activity in the summer of 2022. Those of you that attended the Hampshire Spectacular will know the types of shenanigans that the club can get up to.

In a departure from previous years, after consideration, this year’s AGM we will run virtually over Microsoft Teams and have booked the date of Sunday April 18th at 12:00. Don’t worry if you don’t have MS Teams, we will provide access information in the coming weeks for phone/web/app access.

Further information on nominations for committee positions will also be coming out in the coming days and we encourage all members to get involved in whatever way they can to help shape the future of the Disco3/Disco4Club.
It’s your club, be part of it.

Wishing you all a more productive and activity bound 2021!!!
