Met up with Gordon today at his workshop and had mine fitted. Took a bit longer than expected to fit, but only because making the connections from the new cooler to the existing location took some time to get right.

Gordon did everything himself - I just watched pretty much, to ensure it could be done by one person on there own. :thumbright: :thumbright:

It's all pretty easy - the hardest part is getting the radiator cowl and fan off.

Gordon is writing some instructions on how to fit it.

I have the two sets of parts for Bodsy and Kingmav66, which I will pass on over the weekend :thumbright:

I should also thank Gordon for the coffee and cake :thumbright:

And for flushing the 'box too. Seemed a sensible option at nearly 79K on the clock and whilst I was there :D

And for tightening the bottom intercooler hose, which was leaking oil. Trip computer MPG improved coming back home - not sure if that was better due to oil change/intercooler not leaking or just better traffic.

Is there any chance of some photos of the install?

I'm just wondering if the addition of the oil cooler will still allow for (possibly) an Alisport off-road or fast-road intercooler?

Gordon - if you get a few minutes spare, would you be able to work out a price for shipping to Barcelona? I'm not signing up just yet, but may well be interested soon :thumbright:

Its in front of the bulkhead behind the grille. So you take the grill off and its there infront of anything else. I think the Allysport is behind the bulkhead?. Might block some air flow but it'll fit :thumbright:
