NEW GNVP Product, Adjustable Rods

Post by Neild » Wed Mar 30, 2011 8:15 pm

GN Vehicle Protection are please to (finally!) announce our first new product of 2011.

Introducing Fully Adjustable Suspension Rods for Discovery 3 and 4!.

Image

These Adjustable Rods replace the Plastic and Rubber parts Land Rover supply on the car. Made from aluminium with an industrial heavy grade rubber bushing, the aluminium parts will be anodised black to help with corrosion protection and blending. Spare heavy duty latch pins will be supplied.

GNVP rods have three settings; standard, medium and extreme. With the vehicle set to normal driving height the three positions give:

1: The Standard is as per the OEM

2: Medium is 1.25” higher

3: Extreme is 2.5” higher

Of course, if you select Off Road Height the vehicle will be in the ‘super extended’ position as standard if you use the ‘Extreme’ settings.

The ease of changing the ride height is what separates the GNVP rods from others in the marketplace. No tools are required and should take no more than 2 minutes to do all four rods.

Benefits:
• Increased off road height when you require it.
• 3 settings, normal, medium or extreme.
• No tools required to install.
• No tools required to change positions.
• Standard driving height when required for on road

The retail price will be £115.00 per set with a special group buy to club members for only £99.00. Stock will be ready with some minor changes in a couple of week.

Ok, it's here, finally and they do look pretty.

But why?

Seriously, why do we NEED this? Don't want to put any sort of damper on the product, but what will it do for me?

And I have questions. Well one anyway.

Like, I fit the rods and have them set for the high setting. And then go into off road mode, then get bogged down and it then goes into Extended mode. What happens to the air bags?

I assume it's just like jacking up a corner, the wheels will just hang there.

Do I :?: , cant say I do really. Agree, look well made but I don't take mine off road in the fear of breaking it as usual. Am sure they will sell well.

The boys are on their way to Salisbury for some night laning, so you may find out something if they have a 3G signal in the pub, but it's unlikely.

Anyway do you really need Suspension height adjusters

Opps!
Wow that really was an Opps! I didn't know what they were launching any more than anyone else. I didn't mean to let the cat out of the bag. Still at least it's finally out now!
