Swear word Censoring

Post by anglefire » Sun Jan 26, 2014 9:44 am

Following on from this thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=9697&start=60" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It is now possible for individual paid up Club Members to be able to by pass the word censoring.

This is via the user control panel, Board Preferences and Edit Display Options. This is a global setting, so it works across the board.

Obviously if you use the :censored: smiley it will not show a swear word, but if you use an actual swear word you will see it.

As before (It seems to be a bugget) if someone does use a swear word and choose not to see it, you will see a : censored: text (No space!) rather than the word. Its just the way the code works. If you then quote it, then the :censored: will appear.

Also, any notification emails are sent out with the full un-edited text in them. This is how it is now.
