Really enjoyed looking back

Post by Stu » Tue Feb 02, 2021 7:59 pm

Tonight I’ve spent an hour or so looking back at some photos from some of the club trips. It started when faceache popped up a photo of Bala. It was great to see so many friends but also a little sad when I saw Wazza.

Reading some of the reports also made me smile. I’d forgotten that Neil and I had a boil off to see if his Jetboil or my MSR was quicker. By the time he’d realised I cheated using a flask of boiling water and then we started measuring it etc it was actually Bigcarpchaser that won with his £10 suitcase stove because he just got on with it while we were faffing.

Also looked back at a few Salisbury events. The year where I had to winch out of some tracks and ReggieB breakdown before we even got off road! Oh and the year where we all mooned.

Many happy times.

I’m looking forward to the next event!

Happy days Stu. I miss them.
I’ve had to stop myself buying another D4, jeez, the price of a decent one makes me wish we’d kept hold of the red peril lol.
