And what you hit is the crumple zone.

Unless it’s a bridge support, 44 ton truck or something made of concrete or steel with absolutely no give. Big and strong is no good if it doesn’t control/moderate the deceleration. Plus if something with no give (like a truck) hits you there is nothing to protect you like airbags and crumple zones.

Just sayin.

All good thanks Del. Just started a new job which seems to be going well and all the family are good.

Are you still trying to do every Michelin star restaurant in London?

If so then Harriet is now working as a chef at the Dorchester.

The Dorchester is one of our faves, great place and great scoff. :thumbright: Unfortunately not been into London for about 18 months apart from the 10k London Winter Run, mainly as dogs (now dog) are getting too old to be left long, also not really got the enthusiasm.

Good Road Trip to North Cape this year. Deffo calls for a gratuitous pic. :thumbright:

Cassie had her test again today and failed again :(

For reverse parking. Frankly pathetic. Failed for "hitting the curb" - which was actually a dropped curb.

Next test is a month being the first one available :(

Its very annoying Ben. She is a good driver - I'd rather sit with her than SWIMBO......................

Parking? Well if you can't do it you are a bit buggered. Minor yes, serious? Nah.

Shame she failed, I am sure it also depends on the examiner you get on the day.

I found my niece a Peugeot 107 as her first from a chap in Winchester, thought it was a great car and oddly the air conditioning is incredibly cold compared to other cars. She has been all over in it, pretty comfortable on the motorway.

As for safety it is always a hard choice about what to buy, but think back to the first car you had when you passed, I bet this one is infinitely safer !!!!!
