I do like the RR Velux, or is it Velour, but the D5 leaves me cold. Can't afford, well justify, it (something to do with running D3 and D4) so doubt I'll be driving one. Having bought a good few LR products from new, not any more.

If only I could think of something useful to type here!! :(

Having bought 3 brand new Audi's in the past, I wouldn't buy new, unless there was a really, really good reason for doing so - we did buy Jane's Jazz new, but it was when scrappage was available and she didn't like the old shape. Plus we knew that it wouldn't be gone in a hurry.

Particularly when my BM was £25k with 48k on the clock and new was something like £50k - it's cost something like 50p a mile depreciation - if I keep it another 3 years it will be on about 138k and will be worth what? £10k? So 17p/mile depreciation.

Translate that to a new Land Rover and its even more these days.

Mind you the bloody insurance is more on the BM - currently trying to get it down below £700 - compared to about £550 for the D3 :headbang:
